  • Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
  • Duration: Long-Term Contract (Potential Extension)
  • Interview: 60-minute Virtual Interview via Microsoft Teams (Video Required)

We are seeking an experienced Teradata Developer / Data Warehouse Architect to support enterprise data warehouse operations for a long-term project in Lansing, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have strong Teradata expertise, Linux experience, and a background in supporting ETL processes, batch operations, and troubleshooting data warehouse environments.

  • Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Teradata (required).
  • Experience supporting data loading from multiple source systems.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and training to development teams.
  • 5+ years of Linux experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to determine appropriate solutions while adhering to organizational policies.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous State of Michigan or other government experience.
  • Experience with cloud-based Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain Teradata data warehouse environments.
  • Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL and batch data loading processes from multiple source systems.
  • Analyze and resolve production issues related to data warehouse operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and targeted training to development teams for troubleshooting and batch support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient data processing.
  • Follow State of Michigan and MDHHS/DTMB standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Work Schedule
  • Hybrid (Non-Negotiable):Onsite: Wednesday & Thursday
  • Remote: Monday, Tuesday & Friday
