Data Solution Architect

• Job Title: Data Solution Architect
• Type: Contract Assignment
• Duration: 6 months – very strong possibility of extension, based on performance.
• Location: Dallas, TX or Jacksonville FL
• Required – hybrid - 3X a week in office (Dallas/Irving, TX or Jacksonville, FL)

Pay Rate: $65/hour

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have 7+ years of closely applicable work experience.
• Banking & capital marketing industry experience, specifically in the fraud domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• • Design and develop a "Data as a Product" strategy for the domain.
• • Develop target-state data architecture using modern techniques — lakehouse architectures and ETL-free architecture via data virtualization / data mesh.
• • Define migration approach from legacy batch-ETL platforms toward the target architecture.
• • Partner with Enterprise/Solution Architects on portfolio-level data architecture alignment.
• • Extensive experience as a data architect on large-scale data platform modernization initiatives.
• • Hands-on familiarity with lakehouse architecture, data mesh, and data virtualization approaches.
• • Practical experience migrating legacy ETL platforms (e.g. Ab Initio, Informatica) to modern architectures is highly relevant.
