About the Role

The Lead Data Scientist will influence technical architecture, contribute hands-on expertise to scalable data and machine learning pipelines, and collaborate closely with ML and engineering teams, data teams, and product stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, evaluation, and optimization of AI and machine learning solutions.
• Drive AI/ML initiatives across guest experiences and operational functions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for scalable data and machine learning pipelines.
• Influence architecture and technical decisions related to AI/ML solutions.
• Mentor and support other data science and technical team members.
• Collaborate with machine learning, engineering, and data teams.
• Partner with product stakeholders to translate business needs into AI/ML solutions.
• Deliver measurable business impact through data science and artificial intelligence.
• Promote responsible AI practices throughout solution development and deployment.
• Apply strong software engineering principles to AI and machine learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading AI and machine learning initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, evaluating, and optimizing AI solutions.
• Experience working with scalable data or machine learning pipelines.
• Ability to influence technical architecture and engineering decisions.
• Experience collaborating with ML/engineering, data, and product stakeholders.
• Strong software engineering practices applied to data science and AI/ML.
• Ability to provide technical mentorship and leadership.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience applying Generative AI technologies to business or customer-facing use cases.
• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary technical and product teams.
