SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 5–7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics
- Pharmaceutical commercial analytics experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, Regression, Classification, and NLP
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI, Prompt Engineering, RAG Architecture, and Agent-Based AI Systems (LangChain, AutoGen, MCP)
- Experience with Databricks, AWS, Azure ML, or SageMaker
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, REST APIs, and ML Pipeline Development
- Experience working with healthcare datasets including Claims, EHR/EMR, CRM, and Digital Engagement data
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills using Power BI or Tableau
- Experience building scalable AI/ML solutions and production-grade analytics platforms
POSITION OVERVIEW:
- We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join the Global Data & Digital Innovation (GDDI) organization within the pharmaceutical commercial domain. This role focuses on developing AI/ML and GenAI-powered solutions that drive commercial effectiveness, including predictive patient event modeling, Next Best Action (NBA) frameworks, HCP engagement optimization, and GenAI-enabled decision support systems.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in machine learning, healthcare analytics, GenAI technologies, and scalable ML engineering practices while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and Data Engineering teams.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop predictive models for patient events, treatment initiation, and line-switch analysis
- Design and scale Next Best Action (NBA) solutions for HCP engagement strategies
- Build and deploy machine learning models using advanced statistical and AI techniques
- Develop GenAI-powered applications, decision agents, and commercial analytics solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion through deployment
- Implement MLOps best practices including model monitoring, versioning, retraining, and CI/CD automation
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to deliver business insights
- Work with healthcare data sources including Claims, EHR/EMR, CRM, and digital engagement datasets
- Develop dashboards, analytical applications, and executive-level presentations
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations and industry standards
