About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Scientist to join our team supporting forecasting and demand planning initiatives, specifically focusing on volume and contact center forecasting. This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing advanced statistical and predictive models to improve forecasting accuracy, optimize workforce planning, and support operational decision-making processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, workforce management, and analytics, to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. Your analytical expertise will directly influence strategic decisions, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage data science techniques to solve real-world healthcare challenges and contribute to our mission of improving medication access and healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience applying advanced analytics to solve complex business problems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (required) and experience with R.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, statistics, and applied mathematics.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.
  • Ability to analyze trends, mine transactional data, and troubleshoot analytical issues effectively.
  • Proven ability to create compelling data visualizations and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).

Priority will be given to candidates residing in the Columbus, OH metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to improve forecasting accuracy and support operational planning.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine statistical and predictive models for volume and contact center forecasting.
  • Apply time series analysis, predictive modeling, and scenario planning techniques to anticipate demand fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for productivity improvements, performance enhancements, and customer experience optimization.
  • Create and present clear, impactful data visualizations and insights tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Communicate forecasting results and strategic recommendations effectively to internal teams and external partners when necessary.
  • Support the optimization of staffing and workforce planning models, providing guidance based on data-driven insights.
