Role Responsibilities

• • Analyze user behavior across the product funnel, including onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and paid conversion
• • Identify what drives users to become paying customers and what causes users to drop off
• • Build dashboards and reporting systems to track key product and business metrics
• • Analyze monetization performance, subscription behavior, top paying users, and revenue trends
• • Partner with product and growth teams to design experiments and measure impact
• • Use data to uncover opportunities for improving conversion, retention, and user experience
• • Work with cross-functional teams to define metrics, evaluate product launches, and support decision-making
• • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical teams

Qualitications

Required

• • Strong experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science
• • Experience analyzing user funnels, conversion, retention, monetization, or subscription behavior
• • Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large-scale user behavior data
• • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis
• • Experience building dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools
• • Ability to define product metrics and connect data insights to business outcomes
• • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with product, engineering, growth, and marketing teams
• • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred

• • Experience with consumer AI products, creator tools, design tools, or content creation platforms
• • Experience with subscription-based products or freemium-to-paid conversion
• • Background in growth data science, monetization analytics, or revenue analytics
• • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, causal analysis, or user segmentation
• • Familiarity with AI image generation, AI design tools, or creator economy products
• • Chinese-speaking ability or understanding of both U.S. and Asian AI product markets is a plus
