  • We are seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to support and enhance our client's enterprise Vulnerability Management Program. This role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, validating, and reporting cybersecurity vulnerability data across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerability management tools, security metrics, and business intelligence platforms to provide actionable insights to security leadership, technology teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • This position plays a critical role in helping the organization measure cyber risk, monitor remediation efforts, and improve overall security posture through data-driven decision-making.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and automate vulnerability management dashboards and reports.
  • Analyze data from vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or Microsoft Defender.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) related to vulnerability remediation.
  • Monitor vulnerability trends, aging, severity distribution, and remediation compliance.
  • Create executive-level reporting and presentations for cybersecurity leadership and governance committees.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application Development, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation across multiple security tools and platforms.
  • Build automated reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or similar analytics tools.
  • Support vulnerability management audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis related to emerging threats, security incidents, and risk assessments.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, cybersecurity operations, or vulnerability management.
  • Experience working with vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar tools.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data visualization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scoring methodologies including CVSS and risk-based prioritization.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ticketing/workflow platforms.
  • Understanding of cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, or similar are a plus.
