- Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Business Information Management Specialist III to support the US Credit Risk team. This role focuses on data quality, data lineage, and data warehousing initiatives supporting allowance processes and audit responses.
- The successful candidate will join a collaborative team and work with internal stakeholders to improve data governance, validate data quality, and support business reporting and audit requirements.
- Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve data quality across business processes.
- Perform data lineage analysis for regulatory and audit requirements.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries using Oracle databases.
- Support data warehousing initiatives and data validation activities.
- Create and maintain Excel-based reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal business and technical teams.
- Support audit requests by providing accurate data analysis and documentation.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within established timelines.
- Participate in team meetings and project discussions (approximately 20% of the workday).
- Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong SQL development and querying skills.
- Experience with data quality analysis.
- Experience with data lineage and data governance.
- Experience with Oracle data warehouses.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and adaptable team player.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Postsecondary education is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of banking, lending, retail banking, or commercial banking environments.
- Previous experience working in a remote environment.
