Position Group
- SGF Global is recruiting a highly experienced Data Quality Architect to support a critical enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) initiative within a large-scale consulting engagement. This position will be responsible for establishing, governing, and continuously improving data quality standards, processes, controls, and metrics across complex business and technology environments.
- The successful candidate will serve as a key contributor in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability of enterprise data assets, with a strong focus on party master data, data migration, governance, and post-implementation quality management.
- Position Overview
- The Data Quality Architect will lead the design and execution of data quality strategies supporting an enterprise-wide Unified Master Data Management (UMDM) program. This role requires a deep understanding of data governance, data profiling, data remediation, stewardship, and quality monitoring frameworks. The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, source system owners, data stewards, developers, testers, and product teams to improve and sustain data quality throughout the lifecycle of master data management initiatives.
- Primary Responsibilities
- • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise data quality standards, policies, frameworks, and operational procedures.
- • Conduct comprehensive data profiling and quality assessments across multiple source systems to identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, completeness issues, and integrity gaps.
- • Define, document, and maintain data quality rules, business validations, thresholds, scorecards, and key performance indicators for critical party master data attributes, including names, addresses, identifiers, hierarchies, and relationships.
- • Support the design and execution of data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, deduplication, and validation processes to prepare data for migration into the Unified Master Data Management platform.
- • Analyze root causes of data quality issues and collaborate with business stakeholders and system owners to establish remediation plans and long-term corrective actions.
- • Design, implement, and maintain data quality dashboards, health metrics, and scorecards to provide ongoing visibility into MDM performance and data governance effectiveness.
- • Establish and support data stewardship processes, workflows, exception management procedures, escalation protocols, and survivorship rules.
- • Monitor post-implementation data quality performance, identify emerging trends, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- • Gather business requirements related to master data management processes and translate them into actionable technical and functional specifications.
- • Work directly with business users to capture operational challenges and convert feedback into enhancement requests and backlog items.
- • Create and maintain training materials and user adoption documentation supporting MDM processes and data governance initiatives.
- • Participate in requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and solution design discussions.
- • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities through test case development, execution, documentation of evidence, and defect management.
- • Track and manage defects through Jira and collaborate with project teams through resolution.
- Required Qualifications
- • Advanced experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Management Architecture (6 to 9+ years).
- • Advanced proficiency with ANSI SQL.
- • Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise data quality frameworks and controls.
- • Experience performing large-scale data profiling, data assessment, and data remediation initiatives.
- • Expertise creating data quality metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and monitoring solutions.
- • Experience supporting data migration and master data consolidation projects.
- • Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering capabilities.
- • Experience supporting testing activities, including UAT planning, execution, documentation, and defect tracking.
- Preferred Qualifications
- • Informatica Data Quality experience.
- • Master Data Management (MDM) experience.
- • Experience supporting enterprise UMDM programs.
- • Knowledge of data stewardship, survivorship, reference data management, and governance operating models.
- • Experience working within highly regulated environments requiring strict data controls and compliance standards.
- Work Arrangement
- Remote within the United States.
- Compliance Requirements
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and perform all work from within the United States.
- This opportunity includes extensive client compliance, security, background screening, confidentiality, and information protection requirements. Candidates selected for engagement must be able to satisfy all client onboarding, background verification, and security standards.
- If you possess a strong background in Data Quality, ANSI SQL, Master Data Management, and enterprise data governance initiatives, we encourage you to apply.
