  • Title: Security Analyst
  • Location: Columbia, SC 29201 (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
  • Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
  • Interview: 1 Round – Virtual
  • Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • Security certification required:
  • CompTIA Security+ OR
  • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations including:
  • Threat monitoring
  • Incident response
  • Risk analysis
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data protection technologies including:
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Insider Risk Management tools
  • Data Security Posture Management for AI (DSPM for AI)
  • Experience reviewing and triaging data security alerts.
  • Experience analyzing access, usage, storage, and movement of sensitive information.
  • Ability to investigate potential data exposure, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
  • Experience documenting investigation findings and escalating incidents according to security procedures.
  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to resolve cybersecurity issues.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data classification, and information protection controls.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and administer DLP policies and controls.
  • Investigate potential data loss, exposure, and unauthorized access incidents.
  • Support AI/Copilot data security and DSPM initiatives.
  • Review security alerts from DLP, Insider Risk Management, DSPM, and other cybersecurity platforms.
  • Perform incident investigation, documentation, escalation, containment, and recovery support.
  • Monitor insider risk alerts and analyze user activity related to security policy violations.
  • Support vendor/third-party security assessments and risk reviews.
  • Participate in cybersecurity audits and compliance activities.
  • Assist with risk assessments and control validation.
  • Prepare security reports, metrics, and documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to security processes, policies, and controls.

  • Certifications:
  • Microsoft SC-100
  • Microsoft SC-200
  • CEH
  • Associate Level CISSP
  • Experience with AI-driven security tools.
  • Experience with Cortex and DSPM platforms supporting sensitive AI data protection.
  • Experience fine-tuning DLP policies.
  • Experience refining Insider Risk alerts.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data governance programs.
  • Familiarity with:
  • Azure Security
  • Identity-based access controls
  • Conditional Access
  • Security automation
  • Scripting
