We're working with a leading enterprise organisation seeking a Data Product Governance Architect to join a large-scale data transformation initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys designing governance frameworks, modern data architectures and automation across enterprise data platforms.

This is not a traditional governance or compliance role. You'll be responsible for architecting governance solutions across cloud data platforms, driving best practices, automation and metadata strategy while working closely with business domain owners and technical teams.

• Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement enterprise data product governance architecture across Snowflake, Databricks and Collibra.
• Develop governance standards, architectural best practices and scalable operating models.
• Build automated governance processes, reducing manual effort through workflow automation and policy enforcement.
• Design unified metadata and lineage strategies across multiple data platforms.
• Drive metadata enrichment, data discovery and classification initiatives.
• Architect secure governance solutions covering RBAC, SSO, metadata management and data lineage.
• Integrate enterprise data platforms into a unified metadata ecosystem using API-driven approaches.
• Partner with business stakeholders to assess governance maturity and recommend improvements.
• Research emerging technologies and introduce modern governance capabilities, including AI-assisted governance where appropriate.
• Collaborate with observability and platform teams to improve governance visibility across enterprise data products.

• Required Experience
• Strong experience architecting enterprise data governance solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DatDatabricks and Collibra.
• Deep understanding of metadata management, data lineage and data classification.
• Experience with Unity Catalog, Snowflake Horizon/Open Catalog or similar governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of RBAC, SSO and enterprise security best practices.
• Experience integrating platforms through APIs and metadata-driven architectures.
• Understanding of governance automation and policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with modern AI concepts including RAG architectures, LangChain and LangGraph is highly desirable.
