- Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling, ERWIN Data Modeler, Databricks, and Insurance domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support enterprise data initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data architects, data engineers, and analytics teams to ensure scalable and high-quality data solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for enterprise-wide data platforms.
- Develop and manage data models using ERWIN Data Modeler and ensure adherence to data governance standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation.
- Work within the Databricks ecosystem to support data architecture, lakehouse design, and analytics initiatives.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to optimize data storage, integration, and performance.
- Define and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and best practices.
- Support data quality, master data management, and governance initiatives.
- Perform impact analysis for data model changes and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Translate Insurance business requirements into scalable data models supporting reporting, analytics, and operational systems.
- Participate in data architecture reviews and provide recommendations for model optimization.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with ERWIN Data Modeler.
- Expertise in creating Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models.
- Experience working in Databricks environments and modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational and dimensional modeling techniques.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and integration methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
