Data Migration Lead (Dataverse)

• Fullspan AI builds AI-powered and enterprise software solutions for organizations across multiple sectors. We are seeking experienced professionals to join an upcoming enterprise digital transformation initiative leveraging Microsoft technologies.
• This is a contract opportunity with a phased engagement, offering the chance to work alongside a multidisciplinary team on the design and delivery of modern business solutions. Selected candidates may participate in proposal support and subsequent project delivery, subject to contract award.

• What you will own
• • Per-location source assessment: existing childcare records held in spreadsheets and legacy tools across 11 sites — volumes, quality profiling, cleansing plans with named data owners.
• • Field-by-field mapping workbooks, owner-signed, from source structures to the Dataverse data model (contacts, family relationships, programs, registrations, waitlists).
• • Two full trial loads with reconciliation reporting (records in / created / updated / merged / rejected with reasons) and duplicate-detection review with each location.
• • Cutover execution: freeze coordination, final delta load, verification counts, rollback readiness — inside a weekend cutover window.
• • Second-release migrations (members, donors, volunteers, rental history) with the same trial-load discipline.
• • Migration tooling using Power Query dataflows and the Dataverse import framework; dedupe rules active on load; evidence retained for audit.

• Must-have qualifications
• • 4+ years in data migration for CRM platforms, with at least two Dataverse/Dynamics 365 migrations delivered through cutover.
• • Expert-level data profiling and transformation skills: Power Query, SQL, and structured Excel; comfort with messy multi-source spreadsheets is the day job.
• • Duplicate detection and survivorship design experience (match rules, merge strategy, family-relationship preservation).
• • A reconciliation mindset: every load balanced to counts, every rejection explained, every decision documented.
• • Based in Canada; available on-call through the January 2027 cutover weekend.

• Strong Assets
• • KingswaySoft, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory experience for higher-volume loads.
• • Privacy-aware data handling (PIPEDA / BC PIPA); experience minimizing copies of personal information during migration.
• • Childcare, membership, or donor data models seen before.

Rate: commensurate with experience (C$50- 100/hr).
