• Position Overview
• Our enterprise client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Engineer with deep expertise in Yardi Voyager 7S to support a large-scale enterprise data migration initiative. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, validation, and reconciliation of data migrations into and within the Yardi Voyager 7S platform.

• The ideal candidate combines strong technical data migration capabilities with functional knowledge of property management, real estate accounting, and Yardi Voyager 7S. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, ERP consultants, and technical resources to ensure the accurate migration of financial, operational, property, lease, and tenant data while maintaining data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• This is an individual contributor role requiring a self-directed professional capable of independently leading complex migration workstreams with minimal oversight.

• Key Responsibilities
• Data Migration & Conversion
• Lead the end-to-end migration of enterprise data into Yardi Voyager 7S.
• Perform data extraction, profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading activities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data mapping documentation between source systems and Yardi.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues prior to migration.
• Execute multiple mock conversions and support final production cutover activities.
• Data Analysis & Validation
• Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Perform reconciliation of migrated data, including:
• General Ledger balances
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Property master data
• Lease information
• Tenant records
• Vendor master data
• Validate record counts, financial balances, and transactional integrity across source and target systems.
• Technical Development
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Develop scripts to automate migration and validation activities where appropriate.
• Support ETL processes and integration workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot migration and system issues.
• Yardi Functional Support
• Support migration activities across Yardi Voyager 7S functional modules.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to validate system configuration and business process alignment.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production readiness.
• Provide recommendations for improving migration efficiency and data governance.
• Documentation & Governance
• Create and maintain:
• Data Mapping Documents
• Data Conversion Specifications
• Migration Runbooks
• Reconciliation Reports
• Data Validation Reports
• Cutover Plans
• Data Quality Assessments
• Ensure compliance with established data governance and migration best practices.

• Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of enterprise data migration or data conversion experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager 7S.
• Strong experience migrating financial and operational data within Yardi environments.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Experience with enterprise data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and ETL concepts.
• Experience supporting ERP implementation or upgrade projects.
• Ability to independently manage migration activities from planning through production deployment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Yardi Voyager upgrades or multi-property implementations.
• Background in commercial real estate, multifamily housing, property management, or real estate investment.
• Experience migrating data from legacy property management systems into Yardi.
• Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms.
• Knowledge of financial accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Experience working within Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
