- Position Description:
- Engineering Data Analytics Specialist - Powertrain Programs. The Engineering Data Analytics Specialist supports Technical Value Management (TVM) initiatives across powertrain engineering organizations by providing data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and project tracking support. The role enables engineering teams to achieve cost-reduction objectives through actionable insights derived from engineering and cost-related data. This position requires strong Power BI expertise, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to transform large datasets into executive-level reporting and business intelligence tools. The individual will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, product development, and program teams to monitor cost-saving initiatives, track implementation progress, and improve reporting efficiency.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing engineering and cost-related datasets.
- Performing data mining and trend analysis.
- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
- Creating executive-level visualizations and reports.
- Automating reporting processes.
- Tracking cost-saving initiatives and project milestones.
- Supporting engineering review meetings and status reporting.
- Improving reporting methodologies and data visibility.
- Developing standardized metrics and KPI reporting systems.
- Maintaining data integrity and validating data accuracy.

- Experience developing reporting metrics and analytics tools.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and project activities.
- Experience Preferred:
- Automotive industry experience.
- Powertrain engineering support experience.
- Experience supporting Technical Value Management (TVM) initiatives.
- Experience supporting cost-reduction programs.
- Experience with advanced Power BI development.
- Experience using Power Query and DAX.
- Experience with workflow automation tools.
- Experience utilizing AI-driven reporting and analytics solutions.
- Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Related Technical Field
- Education Preferred:
- Master's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
