  • Role Overview
  • We are looking for a Data Analyst to support data analysis and remediation initiatives within a financial services environment. The role will focus on improving data quality, analyzing large datasets, resolving data issues, and working with business and technology stakeholders to support accurate and reliable data.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex data analysis, investigation, and remediation across large datasets.
  • Identify data quality issues and develop sustainable solutions to improve data accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyze and resolve data issues impacting downstream data consumers.
  • Work with business, technology, and data stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data rules and solutions.
  • Develop automation and process improvements using Python and SQL.
  • Create analysis, reporting, and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
  • Support data governance, data quality, and master data management initiatives.
  • Communicate findings and complex data issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple data-related initiatives and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must-Have Skills
  • 5–7 years of relevant data analysis/data remediation experience.
  • Strong experience with SQL and Python.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience with data quality, data remediation, data governance, or master data management.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets and client/reference data.
  • Knowledge of FX products from a system/data perspective.
  • Experience working with stakeholders and downstream data consumers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience within a major financial institution/bank, particularly Capital Markets.
  • Experience with Databricks and Dremio.
  • Knowledge of data sources such as Bloomberg or GLEIF.
  • Operations experience.
  • Project management or Scrum experience.

Interview Process: 2 rounds — 1 virtual and 1 in-person.
