Role Description This part-time, remote Data Insights Analyst (Entry-Level) role at HZwei – Das Wasserstoff-Magazin focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making across editorial and business functions. On a typical day, you will collect and organize data from multiple sources, including readership metrics, website analytics, and market reports on the hydrogen and renewable energy sectors. You will analyze trends to generate clear, actionable insights about audience behavior, content performance, and market developments, and present findings in concise reports, dashboards, or summaries. You will collaborate with editors, marketing, and sales to translate insights into recommendations for content planning, audience growth, and partner engagement. You will also help maintain data quality, document basic methodologies, and contribute to improving internal reporting processes.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and foundational data analytics abilities to interpret quantitative and qualitative information and draw clear conclusions.
Experience or coursework in market research and customer insight to understand audience needs, preferences, and behaviors.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to present complex findings in a simple, structured, and neutral manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Interest in or basic knowledge of the hydrogen, renewable energy, or cleantech sectors, with a willingness to learn quickly.
Familiarity with spreadsheets and basic analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, Google Analytics, or similar platforms).
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Relevant academic background in data science, economics, business, social sciences, engineering, or a related field (completed or in progress).
Curiosity, openness to feedback, and commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory, and inclusive data practices.
