Role Description This part-time remote Data Insights Analyst (Entry-Level) role at صحافة وإعلام Journalism Media I focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making across digital media and journalism projects. The analyst will collect, clean, and organize data from various sources such as website analytics, social media platforms, and audience engagement tools. Day-to-day tasks include performing basic data analysis, creating visual reports and dashboards, and identifying trends to inform editorial and content strategies. The role also involves preparing concise summaries for internal stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and assisting in testing hypotheses related to audience behavior and content performance. Guidance and training will be provided, with opportunities to learn industry tools and methods used in journalism and media analytics.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities to interpret datasets and draw meaningful insights.
Basic understanding of Statistics and familiarity with Data Modeling concepts to support quantitative analysis.
Clear and professional Communication skills to present findings in written reports and verbal updates.
Comfort with spreadsheet tools and introductory data visualization software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or Tableau).
Interest in journalism, digital media, or audience analytics, with a desire to develop expertise in media-specific data tools.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with diverse teams.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, communications, or related field is preferred but not required; relevant coursework or projects are a plus.
