- Job Title: Data Governance Consultant / Lead
Location - Remote
- Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Professional with strong expertise in Collibra Data Intelligence Platform to establish, implement, and support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data quality, data lineage, and regulatory compliance, along with hands-on experience configuring and administering Collibra solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Configure and administer the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, including Data Catalog, Data Governance Center, Data Quality, and Lineage modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, stewards, and technical teams to define governance requirements.
- Develop and manage business glossaries, data dictionaries, data classifications, and metadata repositories.
- Establish and maintain data stewardship processes and operating models.
- Implement data quality rules, monitoring, and remediation processes.
- Support data lineage and impact analysis initiatives across business and technical domains.
- Drive data catalog adoption and promote governance best practices throughout the organization.
- Manage governance workflows, issue management, and policy approvals within Collibra.
- Participate in data governance councils and steering committees.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, BCBS239, and industry-specific standards.
- Integrate Collibra with data platforms, ETL tools, BI tools, and cloud ecosystems.
- Create governance dashboards, KPI reports, and metrics to measure program effectiveness.
- Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.

- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Reference Data Management
- Experience with SQL and data analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Exposure to data integration tools like Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

- DAMA CDMP certification is a plus.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or Retail domains.

- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Enterprise Data Warehouses.
- Understanding of data privacy and security frameworks.
