• Job Title: Data Governance Consultant / Lead

• Job Summary
• We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Professional with strong expertise in Collibra Data Intelligence Platform to establish, implement, and support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data quality, data lineage, and regulatory compliance, along with hands-on experience configuring and administering Collibra solutions.

• Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Configure and administer the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, including Data Catalog, Data Governance Center, Data Quality, and Lineage modules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, stewards, and technical teams to define governance requirements.
• Develop and manage business glossaries, data dictionaries, data classifications, and metadata repositories.
• Establish and maintain data stewardship processes and operating models.
• Implement data quality rules, monitoring, and remediation processes.
• Support data lineage and impact analysis initiatives across business and technical domains.
• Drive data catalog adoption and promote governance best practices throughout the organization.
• Manage governance workflows, issue management, and policy approvals within Collibra.
• Participate in data governance councils and steering committees.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, BCBS239, and industry-specific standards.
• Integrate Collibra with data platforms, ETL tools, BI tools, and cloud ecosystems.
• Create governance dashboards, KPI reports, and metrics to measure program effectiveness.

• Technical Skills

• Preferred Qualifications

• Collibra Ranger Certification, Collibra Steward Certification, or other Collibra certifications preferred.
• DAMA CDMP certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or Retail domains.
