Required Experience
13+ years in Data Governance, Data Management, or Enterprise Governance Programs
Strong hands-on experience with Alation (Highly Preferred), Collibra, Informatica Axon, or Atlan
Experience leading enterprise-wide Data Governance initiatives across multiple business domains
Strong experience in Data Stewardship, Metadata Management, Business Glossary, Data Classification, and Governance Policies
Experience creating governance playbooks, policies, standards, and executive presentations
Hands-on experience with Jira for governance workflows and program tracking
Experience facilitating governance workshops with business and technical stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
CDMP Certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
Preferred
Healthcare/Payer domain (HIPAA, HEDIS, Medicare Advantage, Stars)
Great Expectations or similar Data Quality framework
Databricks Unity Catalog
AI/Data Governance exposure
Key Responsibilities
Lead Data Governance Office (DGO) operations and governance programs
Drive Data Owner & Data Steward onboarding across business domains
Configure and manage governance workflows in Alation
Own Business Glossary, metadata governance, policy lifecycle, and governance playbooks
Track governance KPIs, Jira workflows, SLAs, and executive reporting
Coordinate AI governance, metadata lineage, and governance compliance
