Role Description The Data Entry Analyst is a part-time remote role responsible for maintaining accurate and organized data related to membership, events, and organizational activities. Day-to-day tasks include entering, updating, and validating data in databases and spreadsheets, conducting basic data checks, and preparing routine reports for internal stakeholders. The role involves analyzing trends in membership and engagement, assisting with data modeling for program evaluation, and supporting the development of dashboards or summaries for leadership. The Data Entry Analyst collaborates with staff and volunteers to ensure data quality, responds to data-related inquiries, and helps improve data processes and documentation. This position requires consistent attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and experience applying Data Analytics techniques to interpret trends and support decision-making.
Foundational knowledge of Statistics to perform basic quantitative analysis and validate data accuracy.
Understanding of Data Modeling concepts to organize information logically and support reporting and forecasting needs.
Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with staff, volunteers, and leadership on data requirements and findings.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and database tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, CRM or membership systems) and comfort working with large datasets.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to data integrity and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Relevant coursework or experience in data analysis, information management, or a related field; experience in nonprofit or membership-based organizations is a plus.
