This company is a financial leader in the Chicago market and wants to grow its Data team. You will work in an internal consulting capacity with a range of companies in the Healthcare, Real Estate, Food & Beverage, and Business services, to help them clean their data and build meaningful reports and visualizations, to help drive insights. This is a Microsoft-centric team, so the work is all within the Microsoft Data Stack. This is an end-to-end data role, working primarily with ADF, although some projects may utilize Databricks or Snowflake. Experience with Python or SQL for building pipelines is needed. For the analytics, you will use Power BI, for reports and dashboards. The role is 5 days a week in the loop, so someone local to Chicago is crucial. Requirements:

At least 1 year of Data Engineering with ADF, Databricks, DBT, or other tools.
Solid Python and SQL experience, building and improving data pipelines.
Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation
Prior experience working for a Big 4 firm or a Data Analytics consulting firm is a requirement for this position.
Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, the role will be part of the internal Center of Excellence
Ability to work with a variety of clients to help them get value from their data
Adaptability to changing business requirements
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, and related field
Power BI certifications are a plus
