Viyahe is expanding its remote team with a Data Engineer working across technology-enabled travel booking, live-agent support, business travel, traveler service, software, data, and digital operations. The Data Engineer will design, build, test, and operate reliable data, analytics, AI, or software systems. The opening is full time, fully remote, and open to candidates throughout the United States.

What You'll Work On

• Design and implement production-quality technical components, services, pipelines, models, or platform capabilities in the Data Engineer role at Viyahe.
• Translate requirements into technical designs, interfaces, tests, monitoring, and deployment plans as part of the Data Engineer role at Viyahe.
• Write, review, test, and maintain code or configuration using established engineering practices across travel technology and traveler support in this Data Engineer position.
• Investigate defects, reliability issues, performance problems, and data or model failures for the Viyahe team as part of Data Engineer work.
• Document architecture, operational procedures, dependencies, and important technical decisions while supporting travel technology and traveler support in the Data Engineer role at Viyahe.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, product, and business partners to deliver measurable improvements as part of day-to-day Data Engineer responsibilities at Viyahe.

What You'll Bring

• Relevant engineering, data, or software experience with hands-on use of the technologies required by the position for the Data Engineer opening at Viyahe.
• Strong programming, debugging, testing, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with version control, cloud or platform services, data systems, CI/CD, or observability tools as applicable.
• Ability to reason about reliability, scalability, data quality, security, and maintainability.
• Clear technical communication and documentation skills.
• A pre-employment background check is required.
