Data Engineer - Vancouver BC

• Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week onsite in Vancouver, BC
• Travel - N/A

• Rate: $70-90/hr estimate

• Must-have
• insurance experience is a firm requirement, particularly direct experience with policy and claims data
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks
• Azure data engineering experience
• Strong SQL and Python/PySpark skills
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines and lakehouse architectures

Preferred

• Insurance or financial services experience
• Experience across both Fabric and Databricks
• Experience with agentic engineering or AI-assisted software delivery

• You must currently reside in the Vancouver BC area
