• Job Description:
• Must have: Experience with SSIS packages and SQL agent jobs; strong SQL development and query optimization in Teradata, oracle, and SQL server; data lineage and dependency analysis; reverse engineering legacy etl Processes; data migration and modernization; data validation and reconciliation testing; cross-platform SQL conversion
• Good to have snowflake, oracle SQL, informatica, etl tools, data warehouse experience, railroad / transportation / logistics experience, production cutover support
• Summary: data engineering to move SQL server tables and ssis jobs to Teradata or snowflake.

Desired profile:

• strong SQL server and Teradata technical skills and ability to trace complex tables, views, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SQL agent jobs.
• very good analytical skills and problem-solving ability a must.
• ability to document end-to-end data lineage, dependencies, risks, decisions clearly.
• experience working across SQL server, Teradata, oracle, and snowflake environments.
• must be capable of independently tracing data lineage, reverse engineering etl processes, and migrating business-critical data and reporting logic between platforms after onboarding.
• strong communication skills and ability to work with project leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• experience supporting architecture reviews, validation testing, historical data migration, production cutover, and implementation activities.
• strong background delivering accurate migration results while preserving existing business logic and reporting behaviour.
