Data Engineer

We're partnering with a team that is expanding its cloud data capabilities and looking for a Data Engineer to help build the foundation that powers analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making.

This role offers the opportunity to work with large, complex datasets while helping improve how data is collected, organized, and delivered across the business. You'll have a direct impact on the performance, reliability, and scalability of modern data platforms operating in cloud environments.

• What You'll Focus On
• Building data solutions that make information more accessible, reliable, and usable for analytics and reporting teams.
• Improving how data moves throughout the organization by creating efficient, automated processes that reduce manual effort and increase consistency.
• Supporting large-scale cloud data environments by enhancing performance, troubleshooting issues, and helping maintain platform stability.
• Partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical data solutions.
• Developing and refining data models that support operational reporting, business intelligence initiatives, and future growth.
• Working with a variety of data sources and formats to ensure information can be used effectively across multiple teams and applications.
• Helping establish data quality standards through validation, monitoring, and ongoing process improvements.

• This position tends to be a strong fit for professionals who have experience with:
• Cloud-based data engineering and platform development
• Data warehousing and analytics environments
• SQL development and data modeling
• Python-based data processing and automation
• Building and supporting modern ETL or ELT frameworks
• Large-scale data processing technologies such as Hadoop or Cloudera
• Data quality, governance, validation, and performance tuning
• Preferred Technical Exposure
• Experience with some combination of the following technologies is beneficial:
• AWS services including Glue, Athena, and Redshift
• Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Hive, or EMR
• Kafka or other streaming technologies
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Linux administration and scripting
• Agile development environments
• AI-assisted development tools
• Additional Information
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to meet client background clearance requirements
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
