2. About the Opportunity:
The Data Engineer role is responsible for developing and managing large-scale data structures and pipelines to support complex business analytics and reporting needs. This position contributes to optimizing data processing workflows and integrating data science models, thereby enhancing data accessibility and insights across the organization.
3. Responsibilities:
- • Develop large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize and standardize data
- • Write ETL processes and design database systems for real-time and offline analytics
- • Collaborate with Data Science teams to integrate algorithms and automate processes
- • Test, maintain, and troubleshoot data systems
- • Utilize cloud services like Google Cloud BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage to optimize queries
- • Use programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar to build data pipelines
- • Build data marts and models to support internal customers
- • Integrate data from various sources ensuring quality and accessibility
- • Analyze IT environments to recommend solutions for complex business problems
- • Experiment with and advise on new data tools to meet model and use case requirements
4. Requirements:
- • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
- • Minimum two years of experience in data analytics within healthcare, business, or retail sectors
- • Proficiency in Java, Python, or R programming
- • Experience with Oracle, Teradata, or DB2 databases
- • Strong SQL programming skills
- • Ability to design data models and analytical solutions
- • Familiarity with Agile productivity tools and incremental software releases
- • Experience developing data and analytics platforms or services
- • Experience supporting large data and technology modernization initiatives
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- • $114,379.00/year to $185,400.00/year
- • Compensation depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors
- • Eligible for bonuses, commissions, short-term incentives, and equity award programs
