Data Engineer

Our client, a well-known aerospace and defense manufacturer, is actively hiring a remote Data Engineer to join their Data & Analytics team! This role will be fully remote and ideally support CST hours.

*This is a 4 month W2 contract with benefits offered!*

In this role, you will be designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastrucutre. You will also be working cross-functionally to support and contribute to the evolution of their data platform.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Snowflake to manage data warehousing, including data modeling, schema design, and optimization
• Implement ETL processes using Matillion to integrate, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake
• Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting
• Investigate and resolve data issues, performance bottlenecks, and other technical challenges

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related
• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering
• Experience working with Snowflake, Matillion, Alteryx, and Tableau is required
• Knowledge of SAP S4 and SAP Business Data Cloud is preferred
