Data Engineer

We are hiring an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a Remote Contract opportunity with one of our direct clients.

• Role: Senior Data Engineer
• Location: Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX – Hybrid
• Duration: W2 Contract

• Required Skills
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka (Must Have) and Kafka Streams/KStream
• Hands-on expertise in Apache Spark, Hadoop, Python, Scala
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time streaming solutions
• Knowledge of Redis, SQL, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Exposure to Vector Databases, Graph Databases, and AI/ML Data Platforms
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills

• Nice to Have
• Talend
• Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture
• Enterprise data platform experience
