• Job Title: Data Engineer – SQL Server Metric Migration

Job Description:

• · Experience in data engineering with a strong focus on migrating SQL Server tables and SSIS jobs to Teradata or Snowflake
• · Strong hands-on experience with SSIS packages and SQL Agent jobs
• · Strong SQL development and query optimization skills in Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server
• · Experience with data lineage and dependency analysis
• · Strong experience in reverse engineering legacy ETL processes
• · Experience with data migration and modernization initiatives
• · Experience with data validation and reconciliation testing
• · Strong ability to perform cross-platform SQL conversion
• · Experience working across SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, and Snowflake environments
• · Strong SQL Server and Teradata technical skills with the ability to trace complex tables, views, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SQL Agent jobs
• · Very good analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• · Ability to document end-to-end data lineage, dependencies, risks, and decisions clearly
• · Ability to independently trace data lineage, reverse engineer ETL processes, and migrate business-critical data and reporting logic between platforms after onboarding
• · Strong communication skills and ability to work with project leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders
• · Experience supporting architecture reviews, validation testing, historical data migration, production cutover, and implementation activities
• · Strong background in delivering accurate migration results while preserving existing business logic and reporting behavior
• · Experience with Snowflake, Oracle SQL, Informatica, ETL tools, and data warehouse environments is a plus
• · Experience in railroad, transportation, or logistics domains is a plus
• · Experience supporting production cutover activities is a plus
