Job Role: Data Center Logistics Associate (Forklift Certified)

Location: Abernathy, TX

About the Role

Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming data center equipment, including servers, racks, switches, and cabling. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move IT equipment and materials throughout warehouse and data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, stage, and transport equipment while following safety procedures.
• Track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and asset management tools.
• Prepare equipment for deployment, installation, and shipment.
• Coordinate with logistics, operations, and data center technicians to ensure timely delivery of hardware.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and data center security protocols.
• Keep warehouse and staging areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Certification (Sit-Down, Stand-Up, Reach Truck, or Cherry Picker, as applicable)
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or data center operations
• Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with RF scanners, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management systems is a plus
