🕒 Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts

We are focused on rapid delivery of high-performance, leading-edge facilities to support hyperscale, HPC, and AI customers across North America and Europe. We’re seeking a hands-on Data Center Facilities Engineer to support mission-critical building systems and help maintain 100% uptime in a high-availability environment.

Those with prior Navy experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Please read over the following duties to ensure your background/experience lines up with what we are seeking.

Task will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time including: fire/life safety, mechanical systems such as (HVAC, chillers, crac, crah, plumbing, controls), electrical including, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers, and subsystems.
  • Monitor operations, adjust, and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; pumps, valves, piping, filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment. Must record readings and make and adjust where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  • Analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.
  • Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
  • Understanding and complying with emergency escalation procedures.
  • Learn and understand the data center site in order to manage incidents and events that put critical systems at risk.
  • Manage work orders, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets.
  • Perform additional job duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working in a data center/critical facility is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with systems, emergency generators, and switchgear.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • BMS/BAS and SKADA.
  • Trained in NFPA70E.

Physical work abilities and requirements:

  • This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including:
  • Walking in large, campus-like settings.
  • Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment.
  • Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights.
  • Ability to Climb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit.
  • Must be able to work rotational shifts (day/overnight) plus weekends.
  • Must be able to respond to site emergencies when on call.
