- We are working with a leading digital infrastructure developer to identify an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale data center developments across Georgia.
- This is an opportunity to join the developer side of the business, giving you direct involvement in the planning, design coordination, execution, and delivery of large-scale data center developments. Unlike a contractor or consultant role, you will represent the developer's interests throughout the entire project lifecycle, helping drive strategy, schedule, budget, and overall project success.
- The organization is one of the fastest-growing digital infrastructure developers in the Southeast, with a significant pipeline of hyperscale and enterprise data center projects across Georgia and the wider region. With substantial investment backing, an expanding development portfolio, and a long-term commitment to supporting cloud, AI, and mission critical infrastructure, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the next generation of data center campuses.
The Role
We are seeking a Project Manager with a proven track record delivering data center and mission critical construction projects. This individual will be responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through commissioning, ensuring successful delivery while managing schedules, budgets, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage data center construction projects from preconstruction through completion and handover
- Act as the developer's representative, coordinating all project stakeholders including contractors, consultants, vendors, and utility providers
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, schedules, procurement activities, and risk management processes
- Drive project execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Review design and construction documentation, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior leadership on project performance, milestones, and key risks
- Manage contract administration, change orders, and commercial aspects of project delivery
- Coordinate commissioning, testing, turnover, and operational readiness activities
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project requirements
- Support the ongoing development and expansion of the company's data center portfolio across Georgia
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Previous data center or mission critical construction experience is essential
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and complex technical environments
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects and multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong commercial, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth development environment
Why Join?
- Opportunity to work directly for a developer rather than a general contractor or consultant
- Exposure to major hyperscale and mission critical developments in one of the fastest-growing data center markets in the United States
- Influence projects from site selection and preconstruction through final delivery and operations
- Join a business experiencing significant growth and investment across the Southeast
- Long-term career progression within a rapidly expanding digital infrastructure platform
- Be part of the continued growth of the AI, cloud, and data center sectors
- If you have a successful track record delivering data center projects and are looking for an opportunity on the developer side of the industry, we would be interested in speaking with you.
