• Experience with BMS/EPMS and have some HVAC knowledge.
• Controls Engineer – Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, validate, install, commission, and support BMS and EPMS systems for AWS data centers.
• Train and provide technical guidance to internal customers and stakeholders on BMS and EPMS operations.
• Provide lifecycle technical support for operational data centers.
• Review quarterly maintenance findings, identify corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, and level of effort (LOE) for controls-related projects.
• Manage the scope, schedule, budget, and execution of BMS and EPMS improvement projects.
• Support procurement activities, including RFQs, RFPs, vendor evaluations, proposal reviews, and purchase order issuance.
• Participate in the AWS global on-call rotation to provide emergency controls support.
• Attend project meetings, coordinate with project teams, and provide regular project status updates.
• Lead and support commissioning activities for controls systems in data centers.
• Review, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize Controls Sequence of Operations (SOO).
• Develop, modify, and maintain controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).
• Manage multiple stakeholders, project deliverables, and changing business priorities.
• Oversee BMS and EPMS service contracts, budgets, and vendor performance.
• Perform regular site visits to operational data centers for troubleshooting, customer support, and vendor oversight.
• Ensure vendor work complies with project scope, design specifications, Sequence of Operations (SOO), AWS standards, and applicable local codes.
