Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead a critical initiative focused on managing data flows and designing/implementing data controls across enterprise systems.

This role is a long term contract that is hybrid 3 days per week in Downtown Chicago

• What You’ll Do
• Evaluate existing systems architecture and collaborate with technical teams to recommend improvements
• Design, build, and integrate information systems aligned with business objectives
• Develop and implement robust data pipelines and processing architectures
• Identify and resolve technical issues across systems and applications
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to development teams
• Research emerging technologies and propose enhancements where applicable
• Communicate system challenges and solutions to business and technical stakeholders
• Analyze the business impact of architectural decisions

• What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of experience in systems architecture and development methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven success in enterprise software architecture design and engineering
• Strong experience building data pipelines and data processing architectures, particularly in Azure Cloud and NoSQL environments
• Deep understanding of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python
• pay around 80-100/hr
