  • About the Opportunity
  • Our client is seeking a highly capable Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of critical data initiatives supporting financial reporting, analytics, and AI-driven business intelligence.
  • This is a high-visibility role working directly with senior leadership, including the CTO and CFO, to accelerate strategic data projects already committed for delivery this year.
  • The environment is modern and cloud-based, centered around Snowflake, dbt, Salesforce, and emerging AI-powered analytics capabilities. The organization has recently deployed tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude across the business and is actively leveraging Snowflake Cortex to support analytics and self-service reporting.
  • The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect who can quickly understand business requirements, translate them into scalable data models, and execute with minimal oversight.
  • What You'll Do
  • Design and implement enterprise data models supporting financial and operational reporting.
  • Architect scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
  • Transform raw Salesforce data into well-structured analytical models.
  • Build and enhance fact and dimension models for reporting and BI initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain dbt transformations and data pipelines.
  • Expand semantic models and data structures that support AI-driven analytics.
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define reporting requirements.
  • Partner with internal BI resources to deliver high-impact reporting solutions.
  • Apply software engineering best practices throughout the data development lifecycle.
  • Deliver iterative solutions quickly while maintaining strong data quality standards.
  • Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering.
  • Deep expertise with Snowflake architecture and data modeling.
  • Strong hands-on experience with dbt.
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries.
  • Experience designing dimensional models including facts, dimensions, and semantic layers.
  • Experience working with Salesforce data architecture, reporting structures, and business processes.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse design and modern analytics platforms.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting financial reporting and finance-related data models.
  • Experience working with Snowflake Cortex or AI-enabled analytics environments.
  • Background in retail, enterprise SaaS, or large-scale commercial organizations.
  • Experience modernizing enterprise reporting environments.
