  • Who We Are
  • Feetures is a family-owned performance sock brand headquartered in the Charlotte Metro area of North Carolina, built on one core belief: people are not meant to sit still. We create socks designed for every kind of athlete, because we believe all people are Meant to Move — and it’s our mission to inspire and support that passion in everyone.

Founded in 2002, Feetures was born from a drive to engineer a better sock for runners, athletes, and all people pursuing active, healthy lifestyles. Today, we’re the #1 running sock brand in U.S. run specialty stores, sold in more than 40 countries worldwide — a global footprint built on the foundation of a tight-knit, values-driven family business. We obsess over the details, push the limits of performance, and bring unmatched competitive passion to everything we do.

We’re not just making socks. We’re moving an industry forward. If you’re driven by purpose and energized by performance, you’ll feel right at home here.

  • About the Role
  • Feetures is hiring a Data & Analytics Manager to lead the execution and ongoing development of our data, analytics, and AI capabilities in partnership with the IT Director. Reporting to the IT Director, this hands-on leadership role oversees the end-to-end data ecosystem—from source-system integrations and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse to reporting and business intelligence tools—while ensuring our data is reliable, accessible, secure, and positioned to support evolving business needs.
  • You will lead and develop a Data Analyst and Business Analyst, establish priorities for the team, and partner across eCommerce, wholesale, supply chain, finance, marketing, and operations to translate business needs into clear analytics solutions. Working with the IT Director and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help shape and execute the data and analytics roadmap, strengthen data governance, and turn complex information into trusted reporting and actionable insights.
  • You will also partner with the IT Director to develop and administer Feetures’ AI governance framework, evaluate AI-enabled platforms, and pilot practical use cases that expand the team’s capacity and improve decision-making. This is a high-impact role for a leader who can move comfortably between strategy and execution, with the opportunity to assume greater strategic ownership as the function matures.
  • What You’ll Own
  • Data Architecture & Tooling
  • Own and improve the end-to-end data stack, from source-system integrations and NetSuite Analytics Warehouse to downstream reporting and business intelligence layers
  • Evaluate, select, and implement tools that improve data accessibility, reliability, scalability, and performance as business needs evolve
  • Design and maintain scalable data models, SuiteQL queries, saved searches, and reporting solutions within NetSuite
  • Analytics & Business Insights
  • Partner with the IT Director and business leaders to shape and execute an analytics roadmap tied to company goals
  • Develop scalable dashboards, reporting, and self-service analytics that give stakeholders timely access to trusted information
  • Surface trends, risks, and opportunities across revenue, margin, inventory, customer, and operational performance—and translate them into recommendations
  • Ensure consistent metric definitions and analytical methods across teams, reports, and decision-making forums
  • Data Governance & Quality
  • Define and enforce data standards, metric definitions, naming conventions, and documentation practices across business domains
  • Establish clear data ownership, lineage documentation, access controls, and accountability in partnership with functional data owners and IT
  • Monitor data quality across source systems and the warehouse, and maintain a data dictionary as the single source of truth
  • Team Leadership & Analytics Operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Data Analyst and Business Analyst by setting goals, allocating work, giving feedback, and supporting growth
  • Set performance expectations and ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of team deliverables
  • Triage the analytics request queue with business and IT stakeholders and serve as the escalation point for data discrepancies and report failures.
  • Coordinate cross-functional data workflows and ensure handoffs between systems, analysts, and business owners are clean and documented
  • AI Governance & Enablement
  • Partner with the IT Director to develop, administer, and continuously improve Feetures’ AI governance framework, including acceptable use, data privacy and confidentiality, human review, and approval paths for new AI tools
  • Evaluate AI platforms and AI-enabled features across the data and business application stack and provide build-versus-buy recommendations to the IT Director
  • Establish standards for validating AI-generated analysis, code, and content before they are used in business decisions
  • Maintain an inventory of AI tools and use cases, with documented owners, data flows, and risk levels
  • Partner with IT leadership on AI security, vendor review, and compliance with applicable AI and data-protection requirements
  • Identify and pilot practical AI use cases that improve analytics throughput, documentation, workflow efficiency, and self-service reporting
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of direct people-management experience, including coaching and developing analysts or other data professionals
  • Demonstrated experience setting team priorities, allocating work, providing performance feedback, and maintaining accountability for deliverables
  • Experience integrating and managing data across ERP, eCommerce, and SaaS platforms
  • Proven success establishing data-governance standards, metric definitions, quality controls, and documentation practices
  • Technical Capabilities
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience using SuiteQL or comparable ERP query languages
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including Analytics Warehouse, saved searches, reporting, and data models
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or embedded analytics
  • Working knowledge of responsible-AI concepts, including appropriate use, data privacy, model and tool risk, and human-in-the-loop review
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms or AI-assisted analytics tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise, or AI capabilities embedded in BI and ERP platforms
  • Exposure to scripting or automation using Python, JavaScript, or similar tools is preferred
  • Leadership & Mindset
  • People-centered leader who sets clear expectations, gives direct and constructive feedback, and creates meaningful growth opportunities for team members
  • Strong business acumen—you connect technical decisions to revenue, margin, customer, inventory, and operational outcomes
  • Clear and proactive communicator who can translate complex data and technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders
  • Highly organized and able to balance strategic priorities, technical work, team leadership, and a cross-functional request queue
  • Strong judgment and curiosity—you ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and know when to move forward or seek alignment
  • Collaborative and service-oriented without becoming purely reactive; you help stakeholders clarify what they need and prioritize work based on business value
  • What Sets You Apart
  • Experience in a consumer brand, distribution, wholesale, eCommerce, or supply-chain environment
  • A track record of building an analytics function or maturing a data ecosystem in a growing organization
  • Experience implementing or administering an enterprise AI platform, including assistant or agent configuration, prompt design, or retrieval over internal data
  • Familiarity with AI governance or risk frameworks such as NIST AI RMF or ISO/IEC 42001, or experience developing an internal AI policy
  • You are equally comfortable discussing data architecture with technical partners, coaching an analyst, and presenting a clear recommendation to executive leadership
  • You understand that trusted analytics requires shared accountability—and you know how to build effective partnerships with functional data owners
  • Why This Role
  • Data and AI will shape how Feetures scales. You will partner with the IT Director to strengthen the foundation, not simply maintain reports, building a trusted data environment, developing a growing analytics team, and introducing practical AI capabilities. It is a visible role with real influence and room to take on greater strategic ownership as the function grows.
