Overview

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting USADATA’s audience segmentation, predictive modeling, and campaign measurement initiatives. The main responsibilities will be delivering data insights and recommendations both internally and directly to executive leaders at client organizations. The ideal candidate will pair technical expertise with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies that drive client growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Modeling
  • • Analyze initial customer files from clients to ensure data quality and fix formatting errors.
  • • Use analytical tools for audience segmentation and predictive modeling.
  • • Pull meaningful insights from analysis to guide client strategy.
  • • Present findings and strategic recommendations directly to internal strategy teams and client leadership teams in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Client Setup
  • • Configure client infrastructure to run matchbacks through a Streamlit app and write scripts for specific file formats.
  • • Use AWS and Snowflake to store, organize and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Monthly Matchback Process
  • • Work with account and strategy teams to understand campaign goals, KPIs, and reporting needs.
  • • Review customer files for completeness and quality.
  • • Run matchbacks through the Streamlit app, append links, and process results.
  • • Create pivot tables and analyze performance by various dimensions (e.g., month, business unit, geography).
  • • Communicate matchback results to client stakeholders, highlighting performance trends, opportunities, and recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications

  • • 3+ years in a data analysis or marketing analytics role.
  • • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • • Basic data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret datasets and draw sound conclusions.
  • • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SQL.
  • • Basic Python skills for data transformation and analysis.
  • • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • • Experience with predictive modeling or segmentation tools (Faraday, Portrait Reports)
  • • Experience with data tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, AWS, Fivetran
  • • Familiarity with pandas and working with dataframes
  • • Familiarity with marketing campaign measurement and matchback analysis
  • • Ability to write and troubleshoot basic scripts for data transformation
