Role Overview
The Data Analyst plays a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This position is responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data from multiple sources. By identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities, the Data Analyst helps stakeholders understand performance, optimize processes, and drive measurable improvements. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable way.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, clean, and validate data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and business insights that support decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights to management and cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for datasets, data definitions, methodologies, and reporting processes.
• Partner with teams across operations, product, marketing, and finance to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Build and maintain automated reporting tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
• Support data quality initiatives by identifying issues, proposing improvements, and implementing enhanced data processes.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to answer business questions, evaluate performance, and explore new opportunities.
• Contribute to forecasting, performance tracking, and KPI measurement to support organizational goals.
• Stay informed on analytical techniques, data trends, and tools to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, including spreadsheet software and analytical platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases and writing queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Ability to create dashboards and data visualizations that communicate insights effectively.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and the ability to apply them in practical scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, critical-thinking skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
