About The Role

As the Lead, Database Marketing at Humana, you will play a pivotal role in driving data analysis, audience segmentation, and marketing automation strategies that underpin the organization’s marketing initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and optimize audience segments using the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), ensuring targeted and personalized marketing campaigns across multiple channels. You will serve as a strategic consultant to marketing teams, providing insights and guidance on database capabilities, segmentation logic, and campaign performance. This role involves leading platform configuration, system integration, and transitioning legacy campaigns to modern, scalable platforms. Your expertise in data analytics and marketing automation will directly impact the effectiveness of Humana’s outreach efforts, ultimately enhancing member engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related quantitative field, or 8+ years of experience in audience segmentation
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in campaign development, audience segmentation, or marketing analytics
  • Proven ability to lead complex data initiatives and manage multiple priorities independently
  • Deep experience in developing audience strategies and automation workflows using campaign platforms
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases
  • Excellent documentation skills, including requirements, tutorials, and instructions
  • Passion for leveraging data to improve consumer experiences through marketing
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a "one team" mindset

Responsibilities

  • Own the development, management, and continuous optimization of audience segments utilizing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
  • Design and implement scalable processes and best practices for audience development and marketing automation workflows
  • Lead configuration, integration, and connectivity efforts across various marketing systems and data sources
  • Act as a strategic advisor to marketing partners, providing guidance on segmentation logic, database capabilities, and historical insights
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure proper data acquisition, extraction, and testing for campaigns
  • Evaluate and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, usability, and overall campaign performance
  • Oversee the migration of campaigns from legacy platforms such as Unica and Adobe Campaign to Adobe Experience Platform, ensuring data integrity and continuity
