About The Role
We are seeking our first dedicated Lead Data Analyst to join Facer in a remote capacity. This pivotal role involves owning and scaling the company's analytics and growth measurement functions, which are essential for driving smarter, data-informed decisions across all departments. As the Lead Data Analyst, you will define key success metrics, develop comprehensive dashboards, and ensure accurate data instrumentation. You will work closely with engineering, marketing, and product teams to establish a robust data infrastructure, evaluate existing tools, and recommend new solutions as needed. This position offers a unique opportunity to build the foundation of Facer’s data practice from the ground up, influencing strategic decisions and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Growth Analytics, or related fields, preferably within consumer technology or mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling, with experience in BigQuery or similar platforms.
- Expertise in visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics tools like Google Analytics and Firebase.
- Familiarity with attribution platforms including AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular.
- Proven track record of collaborating with product and marketing teams to drive growth through data insights.
- Ability to define metrics, implement tracking strategies, and guide analytics initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing decision-making across diverse teams.
- Experience in managing user analytics within multi-device ecosystems is a plus.
- Knowledge of app intelligence platforms such as Appfigures is advantageous.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks like A/B testing and funnel optimization is desirable.
- Previous experience as a “first data hire” at a startup or high-growth company is a plus.
- Passion for fostering a data-driven culture and shaping analytics practices in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end analytics across product development, marketing campaigns, and business operations to support strategic decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain KPI dashboards that provide actionable insights for leadership and functional teams.
- Partner with engineering teams to define and implement comprehensive product instrumentation, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Support marketing efforts by analyzing user acquisition funnels, paid performance campaigns, and attribution data to optimize ROI.
- Ensure the integrity, quality, and accessibility of data across all reporting tools and platforms.
- Evaluate the current analytics stack, including Appfigures, Google Analytics, Firebase, BigQuery, and Looker Studio, and lead migration or adoption of new tools when necessary.
- Act as the primary data expert within the organization, proactively identifying opportunities for data-driven improvements and innovations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine analytics strategies that align with company goals.
- Establish best practices for data collection, analysis, and reporting to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
