About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this foundational role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing the analytics layer that enables Confido and its clients to interpret complex financial and operational data effectively. Your expertise will help build dashboards, develop core metrics, and surface actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across various departments. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer teams to understand analytics needs, translate data into meaningful insights, and drive analytical projects from conception to delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape Confido’s data culture, establish best practices in analytics delivery, and contribute to a high-growth startup environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis or analytics roles
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets
  • Proven track record in building dashboards and analytical reports
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Omni, Mode, or similar platforms (preferred)
  • Experience working with financial, retail, or operational datasets (preferred)
  • Technical or quantitative degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product, engineering, and customer teams to gather and understand analytics requirements
  • Design and develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools for internal and external users
  • Write complex SQL queries to analyze large-scale financial and operational datasets
  • Define, track, and maintain key business metrics and KPIs
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within retailer and financial data to inform decision-making
  • Lead analytical projects from exploratory analysis through to implementation and presentation of insights
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance data models and improve data quality and accessibility
  • Transform raw data into clean, analysis-ready datasets that support actionable insights
  • Develop visualizations that simplify complex financial and operational data for diverse audiences
