About The Role

The role drives the analytical framework that informs product and operational strategy. This position is responsible for transforming raw transactional and behavioral data into actionable business intelligence by designing robust analytical frameworks and self-service reporting structures.

The analyst will collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and executive stakeholders to identify key growth drivers, diagnose performance bottlenecks, and design experimentations that guide the long-term product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade dashboards in Tableau or Looker to track core company KPIs and department-level metrics
  • Write complex, optimized SQL queries to extract and aggregate multi-terabyte datasets from Snowflake or BigQuery data warehouses
  • Conduct deep-dive exploratory data analyses to understand user retention, conversion funnels, and customer lifetime value
  • Formulate hypotheses and analyze A/B testing experiments, providing statistical justification for product rollouts
  • Collaborate with data engineers to define requirements for underlying data models, ensuring clean and reliable upstream tables in dbt
  • Communicate technical findings and data-driven recommendations directly to business leadership through structured presentations and documentation

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or product analytics in a fast-paced technology environment
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including window functions, complex joins, query optimization, and CTEs
  • Hands-on experience with modern BI tools (Looker/LookML, Tableau) and modern data stack environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt)
  • Strong foundational knowledge of statistics, specifically hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and experimental design (A/B testing)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • Bonus: Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, or experience writing custom dbt models
