About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across our life sciences portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions, including dashboards and visualizations, that enable stakeholders to quickly interpret data and make informed decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including sales, finance, and IT—to understand business needs, design tailored analytical tools, and promote a data-driven culture within the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative environment where your analytical expertise will directly influence business growth and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing analytics solutions and data visualization.
- Proven experience supporting systems integration, data validation, and master data management processes.
- Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataiku is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership.
- Willingness to learn new tools and techniques to stay at the forefront of advanced analytics.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of analytics solutions that support business objectives and improve decision-making processes.
- Create, enhance, and maintain dashboards using Tableau and Power BI, integrating financial and operational metrics to provide comprehensive insights.
- Design and develop data structures that enable multi-faceted data exploration and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, IT, and other departments to identify analytical needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Support deployment of analytics tools through standard operating procedures, training sessions, and ongoing support for business users.
- Operate within an agile framework to deliver timely reports and dashboards, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Establish and promote best practices for data integration, standardization, and visualization across the organization.
- Develop and present complex analyses and insights to senior management, facilitating strategic planning and operational improvements.
- Support additional processes such as demand planning, sales compensation reporting, and strategic initiatives as needed.
