About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team at Dutch Ridge Consulting Group. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in data analysis, visualization using Tableau, SQL, and business intelligence. This role involves transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights through the development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support strategic decision-making. The Data Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across court administration and other departments to understand their needs, define requirements, and deliver analytical solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The successful candidate will have a natural curiosity for exploring data, identifying trends, and communicating findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. This position is based on-site in Mechanicsburg or Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and requires candidates to currently reside within the area.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields. Demonstrated expertise in developing interactive dashboards with Tableau and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation are essential. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and complex data analysis techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities, are crucial for translating technical insights into understandable reports. Experience working with large datasets, gathering requirements, and translating business questions into analytical solutions is highly preferred. Additional skills include familiarity with data governance, data quality standards, and reporting best practices. Certifications such as Tableau Certified Data Analyst or experience with Python or R for advanced analytics are advantageous.
Responsibilities
The Data Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide meaningful insights into organizational operations and performance metrics. They will explore and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements. Applying statistical analysis and modeling techniques, the analyst will evaluate business questions and support data-driven decision-making. Collaborating with stakeholders across various departments, the analyst will gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective analytics solutions. They will utilize data storytelling and visualization best practices to communicate complex information clearly and compellingly. The role includes writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract and validate data, performing data profiling to ensure accuracy, and working with IT teams and data owners to improve data quality. Additionally, the analyst will evaluate existing dashboards, recommend enhancements, and support the organization’s business intelligence capabilities by establishing visualization standards and best practices. Supporting stakeholders in interpreting data and fostering a data-driven culture will also be key responsibilities.
