Job Summary

  • We are seeking a Transportation & Freight Analyst to support transportation operations and supply chain optimization. This role will analyze freight, carrier, service, and transportation performance data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support data-driven business decisions.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain analytics and strong skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze transportation data including freight spend, carrier performance, service levels, capacity, and transit metrics.
  • Develop KPI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Identify trends, data-quality issues, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze transportation and carrier performance to support optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with Logistics, Procurement, Operations, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Maintain accurate transportation data and reporting within TMS platforms.
  • Support transportation reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Present analytical findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight, or business analytics.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting/analytics tools.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and developing actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with freight spend, carrier performance, transportation optimization, or supply chain analytics.
  • Experience with domestic or international transportation data.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Experience with process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working with 3PL/LLP providers.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
