Role Description The Owner role at WeLearn is a full-time, on-site position based in Bangkok City, Thailand. The Owner oversees overall business strategy, operations, and growth, ensuring that WeLearn delivers comprehensive support to educational content creators. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting company vision and goals, managing key partnerships, guiding marketing and sales initiatives, and supervising product development and technology decisions. The role also involves leading and mentoring a cross-functional team, managing budgets, monitoring performance metrics, and making data-informed decisions to improve profitability and creator satisfaction. The Owner represents WeLearn in external meetings, negotiates strategic agreements, and continuously explores new markets and services aligned with the company’s mission.
Qualifications
Strong business leadership skills, including strategic planning, operations management, and team leadership.
Experience in marketing and sales, with the ability to develop go-to-market strategies and manage creator acquisition and retention.
Understanding of digital products and online education platforms, including product design, user experience, and basic technology concepts.
Financial management skills, such as budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in cross-cultural environments.
Proven experience in entrepreneurship, startup management, or leading a business unit in a related industry.
Familiarity with creator economies, online content monetization, or educational services is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Bangkok City, Thailand, and collaborate effectively with local and international partners.
