Data Analyst – Insurance / Financial Services

About the Role

• WAHVE is seeking experienced insurance and financial services professionals for remote Data Analyst assignments. This long-term, work-from-home opportunity is designed for professionals who want to continue using their industry expertise while transitioning away from an office-based career.
• As a WAHVE Vintage Expert, you will support insurance industry clients by building and maintaining data warehouses and reports, preparing data for analysis, documenting business requirements, and assisting internal users. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data warehouses, new reports, and ad hoc reports.
• Work with user groups to identify reporting issues and enhancements.
• Document business requirements for reporting needs.
• Participate in project teams and work independently on projects.
• Support and train internal users as needed.
• Compile and prepare data for customer analysis.
• Compile data results and, where applicable, author commentary for industry studies.

Required Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• Experience in a data analysis role within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience.
• Experience with C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, CSS, and current web technologies including .NET, ASP, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with at least one of the following: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SSIS Reporting, Power BI, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics GP, SharePoint, Excel, Power Query, or Power Pivot.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience compiling data results and authoring commentary for industry studies.
