About the Opportunity:
The Data Analyst III leverages advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights within healthcare data. This role supports healthcare quality improvement by developing measurement strategies, performing complex statistical analyses, building predictive models, and delivering reports that inform strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- • Utilize data analysis tools such as SAS, SQL, Excel, R, Python, and Tableau to manipulate and analyze healthcare data.
- • Identify trends, outliers, and percentile groups to uncover opportunities for quality improvement and further investigation.
- • Collaborate with analysts to develop clear tabular and graphical presentations of data.
- • Assist in designing re-measurement strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- • Prepare, clean, and validate data for complex analytical projects.
- • Conduct advanced statistical analyses, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
- • Develop and implement statistically sound sampling methodologies.
- • Build predictive models to forecast trends and support decision-making.
- • Apply machine learning algorithms to automate processes and enhance analytical capabilities.
- • Create sophisticated data visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Collaborate across teams to align analytical initiatives with organizational goals.
- • Develop comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights for strategic business decisions.
- • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.
- • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhancements in analytics capabilities.
- • Develop code to join and analyze data across multiple relational database tables.
Requirements:
- • Bachelor’s degree.
- • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex healthcare data.
- • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
- • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing multiple analytical priorities.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range: $60,000–$75,000 annually, depending on years of experience.
