- Role Description The Owner role at Apex Health is a full-time, on-site position based in Baghdad. The Owner is responsible for setting the overall vision and strategic direction of the healthcare facility, ensuring alignment with international standards and organizational goals. Daily responsibilities include overseeing clinical and operational performance, managing key stakeholder relationships, and guiding senior leaders across departments. The role involves making high-level decisions on investments, technology adoption, and partnerships, as well as monitoring financial health, regulatory compliance, and risk management. The Owner also champions a culture of patient-centered care, ethical practice, and continuous innovation, while representing Apex Health in external forums and negotiations.
- Qualifications
- Strong leadership and executive management skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams in healthcare or related sectors.
- Proven ability in strategic planning, business development, and building sustainable healthcare operations and partnerships.
- Solid understanding of clinical governance, healthcare quality standards, and regulatory requirements at local and international levels.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting performance metrics to guide organizational decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with public and private entities.
- Experience driving innovation and technology adoption in healthcare settings, and familiarity with modern hospital management practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Medicine, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in a senior executive, ownership, or board-level role within healthcare or large-scale service organizations.
- Commitment to ethical leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to maintaining a safe, respectful workplace for all team members.
